Theiss Aviation recognized as a Developer of Innovative Systems to improve Homeland Security of the United States.


Theiss Aviation, along with three other Ohio based companies, was given an award for being a "Developer of Innovative Systems to improve Homeland Security of the United States". This recognition was made by the Ohio Manufacturing Small Business Development Center (MSBCD) and the Kent State University Division of Technology on April 24th, 2004.





The inscription on the plaque reads as follows:

WHEREAS: Theiss Aviation, Inc. has achieved recognition as a Developer of Innovative Systems to improve Homeland Security of the United States.

WHEREAS: Theiss Aviation, Inc. has demonstrated through their innovative designs to be a breakthrough-oriented model of entrepeneurship and a developer of strategic alliances within Ohio.

WHEREAS: Theiss Aviation, Inc. is a valued member of the Ohio business community and supporter of the School, Ohio's Manufacturing Small Business Development Center (MSBDC) at Kent State, and Ohio's Small Business Development Center programs.

THEREFORE... BE IT RESOLVED that the School of Technology and Ohio's MSBDC at Kent State recognize Theiss Aviation, Inc. for their success as an outstanding Ohio company and as a dedicated partner of the School and the MSBDC.
